Description
The Accura Standard H-Type 4-Roll Shafted Unwind Stands can accommodate a maximum roll diameter of 47" (120 cm) and a maximum roll width of 65" (165 cm) complete with mechanical brake clamps, mechanical brake drums, 2.25" (5.7 cm) mechanical shafts, 3" (7.6 cm) cast iron core chucks for standard cores and chuck locks for four (4) rolls.
Down time for loading and unloading of rolls may be reduced by using air expanding shafts and overhead hoists.
The H-type 4-roll shafted unwind stand is a floor-space-saving design that allows more rolls to be converted within a given floor area. A typical installation would have one or two sets for a four or eight roll configuration. Up to three (3) sets of H-type 4-roll shafted unwind stands may be installed with an Accura APEX sheeter so that, depending on the basis weight and web strength of the material up to twelve (12) rolls may be converted into sheets at the same time, subject to constraints on the maximum knife load capacity of the sheeter.
