About enterprise Magic Melt, Company
Filipinos have a predilection for sweets and native delicacies, which is why no matter where we go, we can’t do without eating one, either for merienda or dessert. Our craving for native delicacies is so ingrained in us that it’s not a surprise to find them at the table. Sometimes, they can even replace complete meals! It really sets us apart from other nationalities and shows that we’re 100% Pinoy. This love for native delicacies and dessert fares is what inspired us to set up a shop in the Philippines in the late 90s. Established in Cebu, where popular native delicacies like otap, rosquillos, dried mangoes and danggit abound, Magic Melt has become a family enterprise with a modern-day vision of making Cebu a global synonym to unique native treats. Under the leadership and management of Carolyne Go, the company Chief Executive Officer and her brother Wilson Lumakang, the Chief Operating Officer, our homegrown brand has evolved from a small specialty bakeshop selling ensaymadas and pastries in Cebu City into a nationwide brand selling homecoming treats that tease everyone’s appetites. The local success that we have gained over a decade has also led to an expansion in new territories. Starting in 2006, Magic Melt’s variety of world-class products such as, otap, rosquillos, biscocho and mamon tostado has been featured on the shelves of supermarkets and food fairs in USA and Canada. All these have been made possible thru the efforts of our sales and food safety team, maintenance of our world class facility in Lapu-Lapu City and our experienced distributors who are committed to make the brand widely distributed and known.
