Description
The ESDR 4 and ESDR 4T are three-phase current differential protection units for generators, motors and, with the ESDR 4T, even transformers in unit connection.The currents flowing into the individual conductors are measured by means of current transformers at both sides of the protection object(s).Any two-phase of three phase short circuits and earth leakages are recognized by the ESDR 4 and ESDR 4T as fault currents.
